I flew from Boston to L.A., then drove south into the mountains last weekend to attend the Fallbrook Arts Center opening. Fabulous show–well over 150 people attended. I’m pleased to note that one of my three pieces was awarded 3rd place, which came with a cash award.

Fallbrook is a vibrant, well-loved arts center. Kudos to the organizers and members who do know how to party! The work that took 3rd place is shown below. The show at Fallbrook runs through the first week of August.

The Center for Contemporary Printmaking (Norwalk CT) has a call for entries for the Pendel Print Biennial in Lancashire, England. I’ll be submitting the work below. This is a painting on paper with ink and watercolor. Size: approx. 19 x 27”.

The show will hang over the summer in England, then shift to the Gaesteatelier Hollufgard gallery in Odense, Denmark.

I am pleased to have been accepted into the “Transferring Ink 3” show at the Fallbrook Arts Center, Fallbrook, CA. The show opens in July 2014. The juror is Ron Pokrasso, one of the country’s premier print makers.

I’ll have three pieces–each 22x30”–in the show. Titles are: Aphrodite & Man in Profile, Double Girls Arms Out, and Garbo with Brush. I’m including an image of the last piece in this posting.
